It is well-known that every closed, oriented 3-manifold can be obtained by Dehn surgeries on links in the 3-sphere. Motivated by the L-space conjecture, I will talk about some results relating to L-spae surgeries on links, and the main tool is the link Floer homology. Indeed, link Floer homology does not only help answer surgery questions but is also very useful for the study of 4-manifold. If time permits, I will also talk about the result that link Floer homology can be recovered from its Alexander polynomial for a special family of links, which is joint work with Borodzik and Zemke.
