Free-boundary compressible inviscid model of fluid-structure interaction

We consider a system that describes the interaction between a compressible inviscid fluid, modeled by the compressible Euler equations, and an elastic plate, represented by a fourth-order hyperbolic PDE. We investigate the local existence of solutions in a space of minimal regularity. We will also address the incompressible case. The results are joint with Amjad Tuffaha and Sarka Necasova.
