I will survey some recent advances in equivariant chromatic homotopy theory due to many people in the language of equivariant formal group laws, and discuss computationally how this plays out explicitly, in terms of the equivariant theory of v_n-self-maps introduced by Bhattacharya, Guillou, and Li.
