A program to compute knot Floer homology

Current version of the first 8 chapters of Heegaard Floer homology with P. Ozsváth and A. Stipsicz.

Topics in Knot Theory MAT 568 (Spring 2022)

Research interests: Smooth 4-manifolds, Heegaard Floer homology,
Symplectic geometry, Seiberg-Witten invariants, Knot theory.

Outside interests, hobbies: There is a large Hungarian community in New Jersey with various cultural programs, and I am interested in learning about Hungarian folk music and folk dancing. Following chess and also computer chess competitions (it is interesting to see the fast progresses of modern chess programs like Stockfish and LCZero). In a different direction I am also intrigued by the recent rapid advances in artificial intelligence due to large language models and on and off trying to learn more about their progresses. (note that these pastimes are just intellectual hobbies and I am not an expert in these areas). Learning foreign languages (mostly French and lately Italian).
